If you're planning a French villa Holiday this year in Nice, details of the Jazz Festival have been announced, with just 2 stages this year, instead of 3. The Arènes Roman amphitheatre is closed for renovation. The festival takes place between 18 and 25 of July, with 40 acts appearing, including BB King, Sonny Rollins, Lucky Petersen, Keziah Jones, Tracy Chapman, James Taylor and Y'ssou N'Dour. Uncertainty still surrounds the 2010 festival, as the mayor of Nice has proposed moving it from Cimiez, possibly to the Jardin Albert 1er by the seafront.
